L’huile d’avocat doit sa réputation d’huile « qui favorise la pousse des cheveux » à sa teneur en vitamines E, A, B, C, D, H, K et PP. Extrêmement bien tolérée par les peaux les plus délicates, sensibles, marquées ou très exposées (yeux, lèvres, visage, corps), riche en oméga-9, acide palmitique, oméga-6 et acide palmitoléique, elle est nourrissante, adoucissante, protectrice, régénérante, réparatrice, restructurante et apaisante. Relativement « douce » en saponification, elle reste intéressante en savonnerie jusqu’à 15% pour son effet conditionnant et sa jolie couleur vert clair.
