Lavender often reminds us of memories of holidays in Provence or childhood. Beyond its olfactory power, it is also a plant with many benefits in terms of beauty and well-being.

Used for centuries, lavender has long been proven. Moreover, the Romans already used it to wash and perfume and then in the Middle Ages to disinfect!

Today, lavender is widely used as an essential oil for small sores and in room diffusion but lavender floral water also has remarkable properties. It is obtained during the same distillation process of lavender essential oil by steam extraction, and therefore also contains interesting active ingredients. It is increasingly found in skincare and cosmetic formulations.

Floral waters can be used in a variety of ways, making them a versatile part of your daily routine. Here are a few ideas:

SKIN TONER
Floral waters’ pH level make them an amazing toner that you can directly apply to your skin to cleanse and even protect it. You can apply them directly before you apply your moisturiser. They can also help hydrating and balancing your skin’s pH level and may even improve acne, irritation, and redness.

DIY SKINCARE
You can choose to use a floral water on its own, but you can also mix it with other natural DIY beauty products. It works as a base for just about anything, be it for a room spray, a body mist, or even a bug repellent. You may need to add a preservative though, as any water-based ingredient is sensitive to bacteria growth.

SUNBURN SOOTHER
If you forgot to apply sunblock on your skin and are now suffering from sunburn, you can apply lavender floral water to the affected area to soothe and calm the painful feeling.

AIR FRESHENER
They also work as an all-around air freshener too! Simply spray it on your room and enjoy that aromatherapeutic benefit it offers.

BATHS
The equivalent of 2 tablespoons in the bath water is enough to relax and soothe. The concentration of aromatic molecules is very low, which allows use on babies.

For urgent orders please select the 24 Hour option and we will guarantee to despatch your order within 24 hours on receipt of order. Orders despatched with the 24 Hour option on Friday will be delivered on Monday. If for any reason we cannot fulfil an order we will also aim to contact you to inform you of the reason for the delay within 24 hours.

DHL and Aramex collects packages from Monday to Friday and for orders placed on Friday will be processed the following Monday and those placed after 12pm (midday) on Friday will be shipped on Monday (excluding bank holidays).
