HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR WITH COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil offers a multitude of benefits as a hair care, making it a popular choice for improving hair health. First, its composition rich in fatty acids, especially lauric acid, allows coconut oil to penetrate deep into the hair shaft, thus providing intensive hydration. This helps prevent dryness, frizz and split ends while providing natural softness to the hair. In addition, nutrients such as vitamin E and iron found in coconut oil help strengthen the hair structure, thus reducing breakage.

CARE WITHOUT RINSING OF DRY AND UNRULY HAIR
Recipe for children 7 years and over

In a small piece of coconut vegetable oil, add 1 drop of ylang-ylang essential oil. Apply in the morning by kneading the lengths of hair.

BRITTLE AND DEVITALIZED HAIR
Recipe for children 12 years and over

Mix 5 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil with 1 tablespoon of coconut and argan carrier oils in equal proportions. Apply to the scalp, lengths and ends of hair. Leave on for 15 minutes then wash with a mild shampoo.

DRY HAIR MASK
Recipe for adults only

Mix 2 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil and 3 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil in a tablespoon of coconut carrier oil. Apply this mask mixture to the lengths and tips 2 times a week. Leave on for 30 minutes.

HOW TO MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN WITH COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil is appreciated for its exceptional moisturizing properties towards the skin. Coconut carrier oil is suitable for normal to very dry skin. It is not recommended for combination to oily skin because its comedogenicity index is 4 out of 5. The term comedogenic means that an ingredient tends to clog the pores of the skin and cause the appearance of white pimples, blackheads and even microcysts! You must therefore choose your carrier oils according to your skin type.

It is important to note that some people may be allergic to coconut oil, so it is best to do a skin test before using it for the first time. Apply a small amount in the hollow of your elbow or on the back of your hand and wait 24 hours. Without any reaction of your skin, you can use it safely. However, if you have a known allergy to nuts or coconut milk, it is best to consult an allergist before using coconut oil.

This oil should be kept away from heat and light. In addition, coconut oil is rich in saturated fats, so it is recommended to use it with moderation as part of a balanced diet. Also marketed under the name "coconut butter", it is solid when kept cool or below 20C°, semi-solid at room temperature (around 20C°) and totally liquid from 24C°. Originally from Southeast Asia and Polynesia, the coconut has colonized all tropical environments on the planet. It is necessary to differentiate virgin coconut oil, from the fresh flesh of the coconut, and copra oil, from dried albumen, often used in soap making.
