HOW TO RELIEVE HEADACHES, MIGRAINES AND HEADACHES WITH PEPPERMINT?

Thanks to its antispasmodic and very analgesic properties, peppermint will be your best ally to reduce headaches in a natural way. Headaches are more commonly referred to as headaches.
The causes of headaches are varied, most often benign. The two main causes are tension headache and migraine.

Tension headaches usually cause prolonged headache at the end of the day because it is often related to stress, fatigue, psychological or muscular tension. Headaches can be accompanied by a heavy head impression, anxiety or contracture of the neck and shoulder muscles.

Migraine is more intense and causes seizures. The pain is localized and pulsatile (beating), either on one side of the head, at a temple or above an eye. The pain may be exaggerated by movement, light or noise that forces you to isolate yourself in a dark and quiet room. In children and adults, digestive symptoms may occur causing nausea or vomiting.

Migraine is usually linked to a genetic predisposition (heredity, vulnerability to a health problem, the environment...).

HOW TO REDUCE DIGESTIVE DISORDERS NATURALLY?

The antispasmodic and digestive properties of peppermint essential oil will act as a local analgesic. You can treat digestive infections such as acute gastroenteritis or digestive colic, and relieve digestive disorders such as heartburn, bloating and difficult digestion.

HOW DO YOU GET RID OF NAUSEA AND AVOID TRANSPORT SICKNESS?

Motion sickness occurs when your eyes register movement, while your inner ear perceives a body immobility. It is characterized by a series of disorders (nausea, dizziness, etc.) that occur during a boat trip, plane trip or car trip. Peppermint is ideal to prevent and relieve nausea during a trip. Indeed, its anti-nausea properties and antiemetic action allows to act against vomiting.

CAN PEPPERMINT BE USED TO STRENGTHEN CAPPILLARY FIBRE AND FIGHT HAIR LOSS?

Peppermint essential oil was used as a remedy for hair loss, probably thanks to the menthol it contains. Menthol vasoconstrictor, that is to say it will tighten the diameter of blood vessels. This action will cause a reflex relaxation, which in turn will generate a tonic action on the microcirculation.

Although it is highly hereditary, hair loss (such as baldness) can also be due to lack of blood flow to the hair follicles. When blood does not circulate sufficiently in your scalp, the roots of your hair do not receive enough nutrients to support the life and strength of your hair in the follicle.

Increasing circulation with a hair tonic like peppermint could potentially improve hair growth and regrowth, and thus prevent hair loss.

It is important to know that peppermint products do not have the same results because they do not contain enough menthol to have a therapeutic effect. Unlike essential oil, which is distilled to contain the highest possible level of menthol.

    Details

Peppermint is a herbaceous and perennial plant belonging to the family of Lamiaceae. In the mint family, there are several species and therefore several smells. This one has a strong and cold smell. This plant, which can reach up to 50 cm in height, is primarily aromatic and medicinal. It is the most widely used mint in herbal medicine. Its dark green leaves take a reddish shade in the sun. They contain the essential oil mainly made of menthol. Dried leaves were found in the Egyptian pyramids, testifying to the very ancient use of this plant.

Like all mint, it has aromatic and digestive properties. But its field of activity is wide. It has long been widely used in case of headache, nausea or motion sickness. Stimulating and invigorating, its essential oil will be very useful in case of mental, physical or sexual fatigue. Analgesic and anaesthetic, peppermint leaves were widely used in cataplasm to relieve pain from rheumatism and osteoarthritis but also during shocks or trauma. The essential oil, in diffusion, will make your air purified and refreshed!
