AN EXCLUSIVE COLD PRESS MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The producer we work with has developed an exclusive process, based on a cold pressing method of extraction of fresh pulp from avocado, allowing it to obtain a vegetable oil of incomparable quality, very rich in oleic acid, carotenoids and nutrients.

AN OIL FROM A FAIR TRADE RELATIONSHIP
On the other hand, two major criteria were part of the producer’s approach to his project. The first is to be involved in an ethical approach.
Thanks to it, thousands of small farmers are committed to selling the products of their small farm, including avocados, and can thus grow organic products and belong to the fair trade circuit. The avocado oil producer thus provides economic support to families in the region by paying these farmers.

ORGANIC FARMING AND RECYCLING BY-PRODUCTS FOR SUSTAINABLE USE
The producer also wanted to follow an environmental and sustainable development approach, promoting organic farming and small-scale production.
It is committed to helping farmers comply with the regulatory requirements for this organic farming approach. A project is also underway to set up a bio-gas plant, using the by-product of oil extraction, and this in a very sustainable way.
